    Luis Alberto Suarez Diaz  (Luis Suarez)was born in Salto, Uruguay, on January 24, 1987.
    Luis Suarez is a Uruguayan soccer player who played in the striker position for the Barcelona club, and he also was a member of the national team of Uruguay.

    In 2006, Suarez moved to the Netherlands to play for Groningen in the Eredivisie. Suarez was transferred to Ajax in 2007.
    In 2008 to 2009 Luis Suarez became Ajax Player of the Year. In the following year, he served as captain of the club, the league's top scorer with 35 goals in 33 games, and won the Dutch Footballer of the Year. He has scored 49 goals in all competitions and Ajax won the KNVB Cup by it.

    In the 2010-2011 season, he scored one goal completed the rout 100 for Ajax, joined a group of players, including Johan Cruyff and Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp, who also do it. In January 2011, Suarez transferred to Liverpool for a total cost of € 26.5 million (£ 22.8 million).
    During a partial season at Liverpool, Suarez helped the club move from twelfth in the league rankings in mid-January to finish sixth in the rankings at the end of the season.



    In February 2012, Suarez won his first trophy with Liverpool, when they won the Football League Cup.
    On March 22, 2014 Luis Suarez scored the sixth hat-trick in the Premier League for the club, making it the most frequent scorer with a hat-trick in Premier League history.

    Luis Suarez represent Uruguay at the 2007 World Cup U-20. In the 2010 World Cup, he played an important role as Uruguay finished in fourth and scored three goals, including when he was suspended when the extra time for the ball with his hand in the quarter-final against Ghana.

    In Copa America 2011, Suarez scored four goals for Uruguay and they won a record fifteenth Copa America and Player of the Tournament. On June 23, 2013, a player Suarez Uruguay's all-time record goal scorer with 35 goals.
    In December 2013, Suarez entered the rankings released by The Guardian as the ninth best footballer the world.
